Currently, FIRST CENTER INC. is limited to the  Performance testing of Rubber Dock Fenders. However, E.B. Testing Center Inc. with 9 branches in the Philippines has the complete facility to test major material component in the contruction insdustry. 

Our Pricing

Please do call us so we could provide your office the overall testing cost of your Rubber dock fenders. As a general guideline, a large RDF - supercone, hypercones will cost more to test than smaller V or D type models. The number of units as well as the RDF manufacturer (due to bolt patterns) will also contribute to the pricing.

As a guideline, as of September 2017, the performance test of  a single V Type fender, V200x1000 will cost around 8,000.00 PHP . While for an SCN1200, testing will cost around 56,000.00 PHP per unit.

We will soon offer transport services for your Rubber Dock Fenders, to and from Ports or local factory.

How many should we Test?

Following internationally accepted norms, 100% of the fenders should be tested for perfomance. Sample testing (1 out of 5 or 10) has proven itself to be non-satisfactory, as the manufacturing process of each and every fender results in different perfomance characteristics. However, at client's discretion, Sample testing could also be done, however the test results will be limited to the tested fender, and no test certificate will be issued for the lot/batch.

100% Performance testing of Rubber Dock marine Fenders guarantees that your fender will last and will perform as intended. Have  the peace of mind, that your fenders are not only DESIGNED for its purpose, but also BUILT as well.

Moreso, the locally accepted practice of Performance testing of fenders by the manufacturer should only be done when independent testing is not available.

To Date, we have tested various RDF fender types from various manufacturers, brands like Trelleborg, Shibata, Jier, 1128, Hicor and other fenders have been tested in FIRST Center facility.
