Performance Testing Methodology
a. Inspection and stabilization of RDF
Rubber Dock Fenders should be measured for dimension conformity, based on the manufacturers drawing, specifications and performance numbers. The RDF shall also be stabilized for 12 hours at 23° C +/- 5°, before testing. Only Fenders 20 days old from manufacturing date will be tested.
b. Mounting
RDF will be mounted on the testing mat, then railed to the the testing apparatus, oriented to its usage using proper mounts.
c. Break in
Break in sequence as prescribed by the test method to be used, usually broken it at full performance deflection.
d.Encoding
Perfomance numbers, datas and other information will be encoded for records and comparison. The manufacturers Brochure or designer's specifications will be used.
e. Performance Testing
Testing will commence as per approved (client's)prerequisite standards - PIANC 2002, ASTM F2192-5 or Philippine Ports Authority standards
f. Printing
Test printouts will be printed on FIRST CENTER INC. security paper to avoid fake or unauthorized results.
